This manual is published in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 ("PAIA"), and is intended to assist requesters in exercising their right of access to records held by MathU ("the Company"). Records may be accessed in terms of, among others, the Companies Act, the Income Tax Act, the Labour Relations Act, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and POPIA, subject to the provisions of each.

6.1 Procedure

A requester must complete the prescribed PAIA request form and submit it to the Information Officer at the contact details above, together with the applicable fee (where relevant) and sufficient detail to identify the record and the requester.

6.2 Fees

A request fee and access fee may be payable as prescribed in the PAIA regulations.

6.3 Grounds for refusal

Access may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of PAIA, including the protection of privacy, commercial information, and confidential third-party information.

7. Protection of personal information (POPIA)

The Company processes personal information in accordance with POPIA. Data subjects have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable law.
